It is no secret that organizations struggle to effectively transfer the knowledge and skills of experienced personnel to the newer workers. Learning how to develop and maintain effective mentoring relationships within organizations is the key. Mentors share their experience through a series of coachable moments. Many of these moments can be lost because students or coworkers shy away from performance scrutiny. In this workshop we will focus on what you want for your mentoring and coaching legacy then move towards becoming the most effective mentor and coach in the classroom, workplace, and at home. Students will demonstrate positive coaching and develop long-term coaching strategies. These are life skills that have broad application beyond the workplace. Attendees will practice proven techniques and leave ready to positively affect all those around them.
